WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA'S PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR EACH OF ITS THREE LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICES, AS MEASURED BY EXPENSE (SERVICES PROVIDED, # OF PERSONS BENEFITED, OTHER RELEVANT INFO: SUPPORTING WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP [EXPENSE: % OR PROGRAM LEAD, PROGRAM COORDINATOR, TECHNOLOGY, EXPANSION, NGO ED AND PD]: WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA INTRODUCED INTEREST-FREE CAPITAL AS A BRIDGE TO FINANCIAL INCLUSION FOR MARGINALIZED WOMEN IN UGANDA.THIS CAPITAL IS NOT MICROFINANCE, BUT RATHER IT IS A SIMPLE, EASILY UNDERSTOOD SYSTEM THAT IS LOCALLY MANAGED, NURTURES TRUST, MUTUAL SUPPORT, COLLABORATION AND GROWTH. IN JUST UNDER 4 YEARS, WE HAVE PROVIDED $16,710 IN INTEREST-FREE LOANS HAS TRANSFORMED 782 LIVES OF WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES, PROMOTING FINANCIAL STABILITY, AND INSPIRING ENTREPRENEURIAL INITIATIVES. IN 2021, WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA WILL EXPAND THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS TO INCLUDE VILLAGE SAVINGS AND LOANS (VLSAA), DIGITIZATION, AND THE CONNECTION WITH A LOCAL BANK TO ESTABLISH A STRAIGHT PATH FROM NO SAVINGS TO INFORMAL FINANCIAL INCLUSION TO FORMAL FINANCIAL INCLUSION. COMMUNITY SYSTEMS CHANGE [EXPENSE: EDUCATION/TRAININGS, % OR PROGRAM LEAD, PROGRAM COORDINATOR,NGO ED AND PD]: WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA FURTHERS THE LITERACY, BUSINESS AND ESSENTIAL LEARNING OF WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA WOMEN MEMBERS, MANY WHO DID NOT BENEFIT FROM BEYOND PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLING. WE HAVE OFFERED 385 HOURS OF EDUCATION IN FUNCTIONAL ADULT LITERACY, BUSINESS EDUCATION, AS WELL AS LOCALLY-LED WORKSHOPS IN FAMILY PLANNING, NUTRITION, AND HEALTHCARE THAT HAS IMPROVED THE 20 NEW BUSINESSES THE WOMEN HAVE DEVELOPED, HALF OF WHICH ARE COLLABORATIVES AND ARE INCREASINGLY ADDRESSING COMMUNITY SYSTEMS CHANGE. THESE BOLD, RESOURCEFUL UGANDAN WOMEN ARE IMPROVING ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER AND BETTER SANITATION, CLEAN ENERGY, AND ELECTRICITY, HEALTH, AGRICULTURAL INNOVATION, ARTS, EDUCATION, NUTRITION. THEY ARE TACKLING THE EFFECTS OF GENDER INEQUITY, EXTREME POVERTY, CLIMATE CHANGE WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY IMPROVING THEIR FINANCIAL STABILITY AND TRANSFORMING GENDER EQUITY IN UGANDAN CULTURE. PEER-DRIVEN COLLABORATIVE CHANGE [EXPENSE: COLLABORATIVE BUSINESSES; % OR PROGRAM LEAD, PROGRAM COORDINATOR,NGO ED AND PD]: WITH WOMEN KISOBOKA IS COMMITTED TO SHARED LEADERSHIP AND PEER-DRIVEN CHANGE.
