COMMUNITY COUNSELING SERVICES PROGRAM WAS CREATED AS A RESPONSE TO RESEARCH PERTAINING TO COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND MENTAL HEALTH. THE COMMUNITY COUNSELING CIRCLE PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING TO FAMILIES THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH CLINICIANS IN THE ROCHESTER COMMUNITY.THE CARING CIRCLE GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP PROVIDES A SAFE PLACE TO SHARE AND RECEIVE SUPPORT ON HOW TO COPE FOLLOWING A LOVED ONE'S DEATH. WE OFFER A 9-WEEK SUPPORT GROUP THAT WALKS PEOPLE THROUGH THE FIVE STAGES OF GRIEF AND LEARN THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCES.(CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - IHMC CONTINUES TO OFFER CONFERENCES, TRAINING, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS MEETINGS TO PROVIDE CHURCH GROUPS WITH RESOURCES AND INFORMATION TO ADDRESS THE SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH.THIS IS SUPPORTED BY CONTRIBUTIONS.
