THE DROP-IN CENTER IS THE CORNERSTONE FOR THE SERVICES OFFERED BY RPOR. IT IS A SAFE, NON-JUDGMENTAL PLACE FOR PROSTITUTED WOMEN FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS AND RACES. SINCE THE OPENING OF OUR DROP-IN CENTER RPOR HAS: 13,500 VISITS, 13,500 MEALS SERVED, 7,592 SHOWERS PROVIDED, 3,625 OUTFITS GIVEN, 749 CASEWORKER VISITS, 46 SHELTER REFERRALS, 632 MEDICAL CHECKS, 27 REHAB REFERRALS, 86 HOTEL NIGHTS, AND 12 APARTMENTS FURNISHED.
RPOR WORKS WITH STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO KEEP THEM UP-TO-DATE ON TRENDS TAKING PLACE ON THE STREETS. WE ALSO WORK WITH LOCAL AND STATE LEGISLATORS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THE NEEDS FOR THE WOMEN WE SERVE.
