Part 3 - Line 4a

THE AMERICAN EXCHANGE PROJECT (AEP) WORKS TO BRIDGE THE GAP IN AMERICA BY CREATING A FREE NATIONAL DOMESTIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TO LIVE IN AN AMERICAN COMMUNITY VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE IN WHICH THEY GREW UP. AEP IS A CHANCE FOR STUDENTS TO DISCOVER AND LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY AND EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT POLITICS, CULTURES, AND LEARN ABOUT LOCAL ISSUES. AEP AIMS TO MAKE THESE EXPERIENCES EASILY ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL U.S. STUDENTS.WITHIN THE YEAR, THE PROGRAM HAS SPREAD ACROSS THE NATION TO NEARLY 200 STUDENTS FROM OVER FOURTEEN STATES. AT THE AMERICAN EXCHANGE PROJECT, WE'RE BUILDING THAT TRUST BACK. BY BRINGING TOGETHER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY, WE ARE EXPOSING THE NEXT GENERATION OF VOTERS TO PERSPECTIVES AND IDEAS THEY WON'T GET ANYWHERE ELSE.
