COLORADO ORGANIZATION FOR LATINA OPPORTUNITY AND REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS (COLOR) IS A COMMUNITY-ROOTED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS TO ENABLE LATINX INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES LEAD SAFE, HEALTHY, SELF-DETERMINED LIVES.

EDUCATION: EDUCATING COMMUNITY MEMBERS ON ISSUES RELATED TO REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, RIGHTS, AND JUSTICE THROUGH FELLOWSHIPS, WORKSHOPS, AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS. AS A MAJOR PARTICIPANT IN LATINO/A ADVOCACY DAY, COLOR PROVIDES ADVOCACY TRAINING AND BRIEFING ON POLICY ISSUES THAT MOST IMPACT LATINOS IN COLORADO THROUGH A DAYLONG ADVOCACY EXPERIENCE THAT DRAWS STATEWIDE PARTICIPATION.
OUTREACH & ORGANIZING: REGISTERING AND EDUCATING VOTERS WHILE PROMOTING CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND VOTER TURNOUT THROUGH INTEGRATED VOTER ENGAGEMENT. THIS PROGRAM IS A YEAR-ROUND, BASE-BUILDING, NON-PARTISAN EFFORT TO EXPAND THE LATINX ELECTORATE IN COLORADO.
PUBLIC POLICY: POLICY EFFORTS SUPPORT PROTECTING AND EXPANDING REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOMS BY HELPING TO PASS PROACTIVE LEGISLATION AND/OR BLOCKING HARMFUL BILLS.
