BENNIE E. GOODWIN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS AN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM THAT ENGAGES IN READING AND MATH SKILL BUILDING OF AT-RISK YOUTH STUDENTS WHO ARE ONE OR MORE YEARS BELOW GRADE LEVEL. WE SERVE APPROXIMATELY 200 STUDENTS ANNUALLY. WE ALSO ESTABLISH COLLABORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH PARENTS, SCHOOLS, CHURCHES AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. SELF ESTEEM AND SELF WORTH ARE ACHIEVEMENTS THAT ARE NOT MEASURABLE.
