THE MISSION OF VICTIM OUTREACH INCORPORATED (VOI) IS TO PROMOTE THE HEALING OF PEOPLE IMPACTED BY CRIME AND TRAUMA. VOI FORMED IN MAY OF 1986 AS A 501 (C)(3) NON-PROFIT AGENCY TO ASSIST VICTIMS OF CRIME WHO REPORT TO POLICE IN EIGHT JEFFERSON COUNTY, COLORADO COMMUNITIES. OUR MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING CRISIS INTERVENTION, INFORMATION ABOUT VICTIMS' RIGHTS, SAFETY PLANNING, SUPPORT IN NAVIGATING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCESS AND REFERRALS TO HELP CLIENTS DEAL WITH THE RESULTING TRAUMA AND LIFE CHANGES THEY EXPERIENCE AS A RESULT OF THEIR VICTIMIZATION.

COMPREHENSIVE VICTIMS ASSISTANCE TO VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING TRAUMA RECOVERY AND SUBSEQUENT CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCEEDINGS; COUNSELING, CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION, REFERRALS AND MEDIATION. IN 2019 WE PROVIDED SERVICES TO A TOTAL OF 5,682 VICTIMS OF CRIME AND OTHER TRAUMATIC EVENTS.
