OUR ROAD 2 GRADUATION PROGRAM HAS SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED THE GRADUATION DEFICIT BY 20% IN YEAR ONE OF OUR PROGRAM OPERATING


ROAD TO DROPOUT PREVENTION IS A PROGRAM THAT FOCUSES ON ELIMINATING THE DROPOUT CRISIS. WE LOCATE STUDENTS WHO ARE MISSING FROM SCHOOL AND PLACES THEM BACK INTO A SCHOOL, GED PROGRAM OR ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM. ACTIVELY VISIT HOMES ALL OVER NYC DURING THE DAY & EVENING TO LOCATE STUDENTS. FOR SAFETY WE TRAVEL IN PAIRS. OUR EDUCATIONAL CRISIS CHECKS CONSISTS OF GOING OFFSITE TO DELIVER EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND RESOURCES TO AT - RISK SCHOLARS AND THEIR FAMILIES. STAFF CAN DO UP TO 15 LOCATIONS A DAY , WHICH COULD BE A RESIDENCE OR SHELTER. 5 HOURS IS ALLOTTED FOR THESE SERVICES AS MOST CASES MAY REQUIRE INVOLVEMENT FROM SOCIAL WORKERS, ACS AND OR THE POLICE. ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO IMPROVE SCHOOLS' ATTENDANCE RATES WHILE RESTORING STUDENT'S ROAD TO GRADUATION BY LEVERAGING ALL OPTIONS AVAILABLE.
