DRIVE STRONG INC - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ATLANTA MOTORSPORTS PARK - PROVIDES ATLANTA TEENAGERS WITH A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN LIFE-SAVING ADVANCED DRIVING SKILLS FROM PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS. USING THE PARK'S STATE OF THE ART TRAINING FACILITIES, INCLUDING A WORLD CLASS SKID PAD AND ICE HILL, DRIVE STRONG ATLANTA TEACHES ADVANCED DRIVING MANEUVERS THAT ARE NOT COVERED DURING TRADITIONAL DRIVERS EDUCATION. STUDENTS LEARN VITAL DRIVING SKILLS FOR LIFE INCLUDING WET WEATHER, EVASIVE AND DEFENSIVE HANDLING SKILLS AS WELL AS THE DANGERS OF DISTRACTED DRIVING. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A ONE-DAY INSTRUCTIONAL TEEN DRIVING PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AGED 15-19 WHO HAVE HAD THEIR PERMIT FOR SIX MONTHS AND AT LEAST 25 HOURS OF BASIC DRIVING EXPERIENCE WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN. STUDENTS RECEIVE IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK ON SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND VEHICLE HANDING CORRECTIONS AS STUDENTS RESPOND TO REAL WORLD SCENARIOS.
