THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE NEW HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION IN VALSAD DISTRICT OF GUJARAT, INDIA, IN THE FORM OF VARIOUS GRANTS MADE FROM TIME TO TIME. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CONTINUED TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE RELIEF PROGRAMS INITITATED IN INDIA FOR COVID-19.
THE ORGANIZATION IN COLLABORATION WITH ANOTHER REPUTED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION IN INDIA CARRIED OUT EXTENSIVE RESEARCH TO UNDERSTAND THE VULNERABILITY AND PLIGHT OF WOMEN IN THE UNDERPRIVILEGED COMMUNITIES. IT CONCLUDED THAT WOMEN WERE THE STABLE FORCE IN THE FAMILY UNIT AND IF PROVIDED WITH GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT, THEY COULD HELP TO SIGNIFICANTLY ALLEVIATE THE POVERTY AND SUFFERINGS OF UNDERPRIVILEGED COMMUNITIES. A MASSIVE CAMPAIGN WAS CARRIED OUT BY THE ORGANIZATION TO RAISE FUNDS UNDER VARIOUS SCHEMES DESIGNED TO EMPOWER WOMEN. THESE FUNDS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN THE FORM OF GRANTS FROM TIME TO TIME DURING THE YEAR.
THE ORGANIZATION CARRIED OUT VARIOUS LOCAL COMMUNITY WELFARE PROGRAMS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WITHIN U.S.A, THESE INCLUDE COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAMS, SUPPLIES FOR HOSPITALS, FRONT LINE WORKERS, FOOD DRIVES, CLOTHES DRIVE, VISITING ELDERLY HOMES, HUMANITARIAN CARE ETC. OVER 2000 VOLUNTEERS DISTRIBUTED 2,700 LBS OF GROCERY, 15,500 SANDWICHES, 32 TONS OF FOOD SERVED/ DONATED, 29,143 EMERGENCY RELIEF KITS, 2,960 HYGEINE KITS, 15,508 ARTICLES OF CLOTHING, 13 TONS OF ANIMAL FOOD, ANIMAL CARE GOODS, 1,305 BACKPACKS, 8,234 EDUCATIONAL KITS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, ETC. THE TOTAL LIVES TOUCHES BY THESE VARIOUS PROGRAM WAS ABOUT 125,000 PEOPLE AND 950 ANIMALS.
