THE PEOPLES FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED TO HELP THE POOR AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE IN NEED OF BASIC ESSENTIALS: FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SHELTER. THE FOUNDATION BLANKETS MANY NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY BY REACHING OUT TO THE NEEDY IN HELPING WITH SHELTERS, MIGRANT FACILITIES, UNEMPLOYMENT, DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT, MENTAL ILLNESS SUPPORT, COMMUNITY FARMING, AND OTHER REAL NEEDS THAT ARISE. REACHING OUT TO OFFER SUPPORT TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT SHARE COMMON VALUES OF HELPING, PROTECTING AND SUPPORTING OUR SUFFERING BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO STRUGGLE TO SURVIVE EACH DAY IS ANOTHER WAY THAT THE PEOPLES FOUNDATION IS HERE TO HELP. PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION, SHELTER, FOOD AND CLOTHING TO HOMELESS AND LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS. THREE MEN WHO WERE SLEEPING IN THE SNOW WERE RELOCATED TO THEIR FAMILIES. ONE GENTLEMEN'S RENT WAS COVERED AT THE LOCAL SHELTER FOR THE WINTER MONTHS. A CHRISTMAS DINNER PROVIDED FOOD AND COMPANY FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE HOMELESS AND ALONE AT CHRISTMAS. APPROXIMATELY 60 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
