THE YMCA OF BILLINGS MONTANA IS A CHARITABLE, COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT INCLUDES MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, RACES AND RELIGIONS. WE FURTHER OUR CAUSE TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, AND HEALTHY LIVING. ALL PERSONS ARE WELCOME AT OUR YMCA, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. OUR YMCA IS FOUNDED AND LED BY VOLUNTEERS FROM OUR COMMUNITY; VOLUNTEERS ALSO SERVE AS MENTORS, COACHES, PROGRAM LEADERS AND MORE.

HERE IN BILLINGS, THE Y IS A LEADING VOICE ON HEALTH AND WELLBEING. WE OFFER FREE SIXWEEK COMMIT TOBE FIT CLASSES OPEN TO ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY. THESE CLASSES INCLUDE PERSONALIZED FITNESS INSTRUCTION TOHEALTH SEEKERS IN A SMALL, PRIVATE GROUP SETTING AND A COMPLIMENTARY Y MEMBERSHIP THROUGHOUT THEIR COURSE.THE BILLINGS FAMILY YMCA OFFERS OVER 100 GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES EACH WEEK FOR ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS. CLASSESINCLUDE: CYCLING, YOGA, PILATES, BOOTCAMP, KICKBOXING, NIA, ZUMBA, TURBOKICK, MUSCLE MOMENTUM, SILVERFITNESS, AND GROUP POWER. OUR AQUATICS DEPARTMENT OFFERS A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES GEARED TOWARDS HEALTHY LIVING AS WELL. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: OVER 20 WEEKLY WATER EXERCISE CLASSES, SWIM LESSONS FOR ALL AGES, OPEN FAMILY SWIMS, LAP SWIMMING, JUNIOR AND COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAMS, AND LIFEGUARD TRAINING. NEARLY ONE THOUSAND KIDS LEARN TO SWIM AT THE BILLINGS FAMILY YMCA EACH YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, THE Y IS PLEASED TO OFFER A 16-WEEK DIABETES AND HEART DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE AND A WEEKLY WALK AND TALK WITH THE DOC PROGRAM LED BY DR. CHERYL COOK.
THE Y FOSTERS CONNECTIONS THROUGH FITNESS, SPORTS, FUN AND SHARED INTERESTS. THE YMCA YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAM HELPS CHILDREN BECOME NOT ONLY BETTER PLAYERS, BUT BETTER PEOPLE AS WELL. AT THE Y, EVERYBODY PLAYS AND EVERYBODY WINS. CHILDREN LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS IN THEIR CHOSEN SPORT, AS WELL AS THE VALUE OF TEAMWORK AND SPORTSMANSHIP. YOUTH PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: BASKETBALL, FLOOR HOCKEY, SOCCER, VOLLEYBALL, T-BALL, FLAG FOOTBALL, BALLET, HIP HOP DANCE, CHEERLEADING, KARATE AND TRACK AND FIELD. THE YMCA ADULT SPORTS PROGRAM OFFERS A VARIETY OF LEAGUES IN THE FOLLOWING SPORTS: BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, FUTSAL SOCCER AND DODGEBALL. OUTSIDE OF STRUCTURED LEAGUES, OUR FACILITY IS OPEN TO A VARIETY OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES THAT ADULTS, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES CAN ENJOY THROUGHOUT THE DAY INCLUDING: PICKLEBALL, RACQUETBALL, HANDBALL, ROCK CLIMBING, VOLLEYBALL, WALLY BALL, SWIMMING AND BASKETBALL.
AT THE Y, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY IS OUR CAUSE. THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY, WE EMPOWER EVERY CHILD, ADULT AND FAMILY TO ACHIEVE TO BE HEALTHY, CONFIDENT AND CONNECTED. THROUGH OUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WE MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE, REGARDLESS OF AGE, INCOME OR BACKGROUND, HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, GROW AND THRIVE AND THAT NO ONE IS TURNED AWAY DUE TO AN INABILITY TO PAY. WE BELIEVE THAT ALL KIDS DESERVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISCOVER WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY CAN ACHIEVE. THAT IS WHY, THROUGH THE Y'S CHILD CARE SERVICES, HUNDREDS OF YOUTH TODAY ARE CULTIVATING THE VALUES, SKILLS AND RELATIONSHIPS THAT LEAD TO POSITIVE BEHAVIORS, BETTER HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT. OUR CHILD CARE SERVICES INCLUDE: CHILDWATCH, AFTERSCHOOL CARE, SUMMER CAMPS, PRESCHOOL AND FAMILY SPORTS ACTIVITIES.LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA IS A FREE PROGRAM OPEN TO ALL CANCER SURVIVORS. THIS 12-WEEK PROGRAM FULFILLS THE IMPORTANT NEED OF SUPPORTING THE INCREASING NUMBER OF CANCER SURVIVORS WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN THE TRANSITION PERIOD BETWEEN COMPLETING THEIR CANCER TREATMENT AND THE SHIFT TO RETURNING TO THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES.
