MTA PROMOTES THE COMMON WELFARE OF THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY AND ALL PERSONS ENGAGED THEREIN. MTA ALSO PROMOTES SAFETY PROGRAMS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TRAVELING PUBLIC.
WORKERS' COMPENSATION GROUP PLAN - THIS PROGRAM IS A COOPERATIVE EFFORT WITH MONTANA STATE FUND TO ENHANCE COMPLIANCE WITH MONTANA'S WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAWS AND TO PROMOTE SAFETY IN MONTANA'S TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY. THE LOSS CONTROL PROGRAM AFFORDS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE FREQUENT AND PERIODIC ON-SITE VISITATIONS AND CONTINUOUS ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS FOR DEVELOPING SPECIFIC LOSS CONTROL MEASURES AND PROMOTING SAFETY.
