THE ARLEE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (ARLEE CDC) WILL ASSIST AND FOSTER THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECTS DEEMED TO BE BENEFICIAL SOCIALLY, PHYSICALLY, ECONOMICALLY, AND CULTURALLY TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST OF THE ARLEE-JOCKO VALLEY COMMUNITY.

PANTRY FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS - WE PROVIDED EMERGENCY DRIVE THROUGH FOOD DISTRIBUTION WITH DELIVERIES FROM JANUARY THROUGH SEPTEMBER WHEN WE MADE PIVOT TO IN-PERSON SELF-CHOICE PANTRY. WE SERVED AN AVERAGE OF 625 INDIVIDUALS PER MONTH DURING 2021.
FOOD RESOURCE CENTER PROGRAMS - DEVELOPMENT OF THESE PROGRAMS BEGAN IN LATE 2021 WHEN COVID RESTRICTIONS FOR GATHERING WERE EASED. WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 50 COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH COOKING AND FOOD PRESERVATION CLASSES, NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION, AND MEAL KITS TO SUPPORT FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN.
YOUTH PROGRAMS - SERVED 140 CHILDREN THROUGH IMAGINATION LIBRARY (FREE BOOKS TO CHILDREN UNDER 5), SUMMER READING PROGRAM, AND ART AND COOKING WORKSHOPS.
GARDEN BOX PROGRAM PROVIDED AN ADDITIONAL 16 GARDEN BOXES AND INSTRUCTION TO FAMILIES IN THE JOCKO VALLEY (60 FAMILIES NOW HAVE BOXES AND ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE). OUR PARTNER MSU-FLATHEAD RESERVATION EXTENSION OFFERED A 9 WEEK MASTER GARDNER CLASS ATTENDED BY OVER 20 COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
