IN 1974, THE EPISCOPAL SCHOOL OF DALLAS, INC. (ESD) WAS FOUNDED ON FOUR FOUNDING TENETS, WHICH STILL GUIDE THE SCHOOL TODAY. WE BELIEVE DAILY WORSHIP, EXPERIENCES IN COMMUNITY, AND STUDIES IN ETHICAL DECISION-MAKING PREPARE ESD STUDENTS FOR SERVICE TO OTHERS, THE HIGHEST MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES. NEARLY FIFTY YEARS LATER, OUR GOAL REMAINS STEADFAST.FOR ESD, THE STANDARD FOR ACHIEVEMENT IS A PERSONAL AND COLLECTIVE EXCELLENCE WITHIN A SCHOOL COMMUNITY THAT BALANCES NURTURE AND RIGOR OF THE WHOLE CHILD - SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY. WITH THE DEDICATION OF FACULTY AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, OUR STUDENTS ARE PREPARED FOR LIVES OF INTELLECTUAL DISCOVERY, INTEGRITY, AND PURPOSE.BY INTEGRATING RIGOROUS ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, ESD MANAGES THE DYNAMIC AND CHALLENGING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF A CHILD AS A COLLEGE-BOUND STUDENT FROM BEGINNERS THROUGH GRADE 12.
