FEEDING TEXAS CONTRACTED WITH THE TEXAS HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION TO PROVIDE APPLICATION ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE POTENTIALLY ELIGIBLE FOR HHSC SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS.
FEEDING TEXAS CONTRACTED WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF SURPLUS AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS THROUGH MEMBER FOOD BANKS TO SERVE NEEDY OR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.
PROGRAMS CONDUCTED AT MEMBER FOOD BANKS WITH A GOAL OF IMPROVING THE LIKELIHOOD THAT PERSONS ELIGIBLE FOR SNAP (FOOD STAMPS) WILL MAKE HEALTHY FOOD CHOICES WITHIN A LIMITED BUDGET AND CHOOSE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE LIFESTYLES.
