FEED THE CHILDREN IS AN INTERNATIONAL, NONPROFIT RELIEF ORGANIZATION WITH HEADQUARTERS IN OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, THAT DELIVERS FOOD, MEDICINE, CLOTHING, AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO INDIVIDUALS, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WHO LACK THESE ESSENTIALS DUE TO FAMINE, WAR, POVERTY, OR NATURAL DISASTERS. FOOD AND PERSONAL ESSENTIALS: IN THE UNITED STATES, IN COLLABORATION WITH A NETWORK OF OVER 700 COMMUNITY PARTNERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY FEED THE CHILDREN REMAINS FOCUSED ON EXPANDING ACCESS TO FOOD FOR CHILDREN BY PROVIDING THEIR FAMILIES WITH FOOD AS WELL AS OTHER RESOURCES THAT CAN HELP THEM REDUCE THEIR EXPENSES AND MAINTAIN STABLE HOUSEHOLDS, OUR DISTRIBUTION CENTERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES ACT AS HUBS THAT ALLOW US TO DELIVER CRITICAL SUPPLIES TO THESE PARTNERS SO THEY CAN BETTER SERVE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE AREAS WHERE THEY LIVE.


EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: IN THE UNITED STATES TO EMPOWER THE WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES LACKING LIFE'S ESSENTIALS FEED THE CHILDREN WORKS WITH SCHOOLS AND LIASONS TO PROVIDE MATERIALS ESSENTIAL TO HELPING CHILDREN SUCCEED IN SCHOOLS. CHILDREN ACROSS THE COUNTRY RECEIVE SCHOOL SUPPLIES OR CHILDREN'S BOOK EACH YEAR THROUGH EDUCATION-FOCUSED PROJECTS. FEED THE CHILDREN ALSO PROVIDES MEALS,BOOKS, AND OTHER SUPPLIES THROUGH OUR PARTNER NETWORK TO KIDS AFTER SCHOOL AND IN THE SUMMER TO FIGHT HUNGER AND PROVIDE MORE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS FOOD. FEED THE CHILDREN'S TEACHER'S STORE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW QUALIFYING TEACHERS ACCESS TO SCHOLASTIC PRODUCTS DONATED BY OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS, INCLUDING CLASSROOM RESOURCES SCHOOL SUPPLIES.


INTERNATIONALLY, FEED THE CHILDREN SERVES IN 10 COUNTRIES, INCLUDING EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, HONDURAS, KENYA, NICARAGUA, MALAWI, THE PHILIPPINES, TANZANIA, AND UGANDA, WITH THE GOAL OF HELPING COMMUNITIES BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND GAIN SELF-SUSTAINABILITY. FEED THE CHILDREN DEVELOPS SUSTAINABLE LONG-TERM IMPROVEMENTS IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN POOR OR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES BY ADDRESSING THE ISSUE OF CHILDHOOD HUNGER. FEED THE CHILDREN COMBINES CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION PROJECTS WITH HEALTH, FOOD, NUTRITION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES THAT ASSIST TO MOVE ENTIRE COMMUNITIES TOWARD SELF-SUFFICIENCY.
