NEW ORLEANS BOTANICAL GARDEN FOUNDATION'S MAIN FOCUS IS TO SUPPORT THE NEW ORLEANS BOTANICAL GARDEN'S MISSION STATEMENT BY FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, ASSISTANCE WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT. DURING THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2021, THEY PROVIDED SUPPORT TO THE NEW ORLEANS CITY PARK IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION BY PROVIDING FUNDS TOWARD THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NEW ORLEANS BOTANICAL GARDEN. CITY PARK IS THE LARGEST PUBLIC PARK IN THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS.
