PROVIDE LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR WORK RELATED INCIDENTS; MEMBERS RECEIVE LEGAL REPRESENTATION IN EMPLOYMENT ISSUES; APPROXIMATELY 20-35 MEMBERS SERVED.
PROVIDE POLICE ACADEMY EVENTS PROVIDING PLAQUES, REFRESHMENTS AND REWARDS, PROVIDE PUBLICE RELATIONS AND ADVERTISING TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND PUBLIC AWARENESS AND EDUCATION; APPROXIMATELY 550 MEMBERS RECEIVE BENEFITS FROM THIS ACTIVITY, ALL MEMBERS ARE CONSIDERED FOR AWARDS.
PROVIDE A RELIEF FUND TO ANY POLICE OFFICER WHO MAY SUFFER FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AS A RESULT OF HIS/HER EMPLOYMENT. THIS IS AN ONGOING FUND ESTABLISHED TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS. PROMOTE BETTER WAGES AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT. APPROXIMATELY 9 MEMBERS PER YEAR BENEFIT.
