AS THE LARGEST GRANTMAKING ORGANIZATION IN THE LAKE TAHOE REGION, TAHOE TRUCKEE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS A CATALYST FOR STRENGTHENING OUR COMMNUNITY THROUGH EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. WE MOBILIZE RESOURCES,PROMOTE PHILANTHROPY, AND PROVIDE LEADERSHIP ON VITAL ISSUES IN THE TRUCKEE AND NORTH LAKE TAHOE REGION. WE LOOK FOR CHARITABLE PROJECTS THAT MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE AND COMMIT OUR RESOURCES TO THESE PROJECTS. WE HELP PEOPLE CREATE A LEGACY TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CHARITABLE GIVING WITHIN THEIR WILLS AND TRUSTS. WE ENCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS OF BOTH MODEST AND SUBSTANTIAL MEANS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A PERMANENT ENDOWMENT THAT ADDRESSES THE CHANGING NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES OF OUR REGION, MULTIPLYING THE IMPACT OF INDIVIDUAL GIVING BY POOLING RESOURCES FOR THE COMMON GOOD.
