AFTERCARE: PROVIDING QUALITY AND AFFORDABLE AFTERSCHOOL CARE FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN IN SHELBY COUNTY SCHOOLS OR CHARTER SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT SHELBY COUNTY.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES: PROVIDING 24 / 7 EMERGENCY HOUSING AT ITS DOMESTICE VIOLENCE SHELTER FOR FAMILIES ESCAPING VIOLENCE IN THE HOME. THE YWCA ALSO PROVIDES A 24/7 CRISIS HOTLINE FOR PERSONS WHO NEED COUNSELING, A SAFETY PLAN AND OTHER RELATED SERVICES.
EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING: PROVIDING INDIVIDUALS WITH COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING IN SKILLED TRADES AND NONTRADITIONAL AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT.
