SOUP KITCHEN SERVES A DAILY HOT MEAL TO HOMELESS AND LOW INCOME. PROVIDES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH TO SATISFY OUR CLIENT'S NEEDS FOR DAILY NUTRITION, SUPPORT, HEALTHY GUIDANCE, AND SOCIAL INTERACTION. THIS POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE ENHANCES OUR CLIENT'S CAPACITY FOR SELF-HELP AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

FREE DAILY HOT MEAL PROGRAM - OUR PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO PROVIDE A NUTRITIOUS MEAL TO THOSE IN NEED. IN 2021, WE SERVED OVER 43,000 MEALS! AND WHILE HUNGER IS CERTAINLY AN ISSUE WITH THE POOR AND HOMELESS, A FURTHER CAUSE OF SUFFERING, WE BELIEVE, COMES FROM THE THREE PLAGUES OF LONELINESS, HELPLESSNESS, AND BOREDOM. WE DO OUR BEST TO COMBAT THESE BY TREATING EACH-AND-EVERY PERSON ENTERING HENRY HOSEA HOUSE AS IF THEY WERE DINING IN A FINE RESTAURANT, MEETING WITH FRIENDS, AND BUILDING COMMUNITY.
