MEDICAL MISSION TEAM WORKED WITH FAMILIES AND LOCAL PROFESSIONALS TRAINING ON THERAPY AND CARE NEEDS OF CHILDREN. CONTINUED EXPANSION OF TWO SMALL COMMUNITY CENTERS CALLED "CASITA CORAZON" WHERE FAMILIES BRING CHILDREN FOR THERAPY, STIMULATION ACTIVITIES, SUPPORT GROUP FOR MOTHERS AND FOR RESOURCES (DIAPERS, SUPPLEMENT, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT, CLOTHING, PERSONAL CARE SUPPLIES, BEDDING, ACTIVITY SUPPLIES). PROVIDED TRAINING, EVALUATION AND SUPPORT TO "CASITA CORAZON" IN THE SOUTHERN MAYAN ZONE. CONTINUED IN HOME & COMMUNITY BASED SUPPORT FOR APPROXIMATELY 40 CHILDREN INCLUDING THERAPIES & ACTIVITIES AT THE CASITAS AND ASSISTANCE WITH ADVOCACY FOR LOCAL RESOURCES.
