THE CENTER IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING AND MAINTAINING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL WOMEN OF MANATEE COUNTY BY PROVIDING AN ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS THE OPEN EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND IDEALS; PROVIDING THE SUPPORT FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL GOALS; HELPING THEM BECOME EMOTIONALLY AND FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROJECT UPLIFT PROGRAM PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT TO CLIENTS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING ECONOMIC, VOCATIONAL, AND/OR RELATIONSHIP TRANSITION. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING BY MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, EMPLOYMENT COACHING, RESUME WRITING, COMPUTER CLASSES, PERSONAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND A CAREER CLOSET. ALL PROGRAM COMPONENTS ARE PROVIDED TO CLIENTS REGARDLESS OF A PERSON'S ABILITY TO PAY ANY ASSOCIATED PROGRAM FEES.
