COMMUNITY SERVICES - JEWISH COMMUNITY ALLIANCE, INC. IS A COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION PROVIDING PHYSICAL, RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND CULTURAL SERVICES THAT MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.THE ORGANIZATION'S COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:- EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER - PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY LEARNING EXPERIENCES THAT PROMOTE SCHOOL SUCCESS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, COGNITIVE, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AGES BIRTH TO SIX YEARS. THE JEWISH COMMUNITY ALLIANCE PROVIDES A DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WHICH ENSURES YOUNG CHILDREN ARE READY TO LEARN AND ARE PREPARED FOR SCHOOL. THIS PROGRAM IS BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT. PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE YEAR ROUND DAY CARE, PRE-SCHOOL, SUMMER CAMP, AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS TO OVER 186 CHILDREN.- SUMMER CAMP - THE JCA SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY SUMMER DAY CAMP FOR CHILDREN AGES 5 TO 14. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SPORTS, ARTS & CRAFTS, SWIM LESSONS AND FREE SWIM. CAMPERS HAVE ACCESS TO FACILITY INCLUDING FULL SIZE INDOOR GYMNASIUM, OUTDOOR POOLS, RACQUETBALL COURTS, POTTERY/ARTS & CRAFTS STUDIO AND SEVERAL OUTDOOR PLAYGROUNDS. IN THE CURRENT YEAR, OVER 348 CHILDREN ATTENDED SUMMER CAMP.
MEMBER SERVICES AND WELLNESS - JEWISH COMMUNITY ALLIANCE, INC. OFFERS A FULL-SERVICE ATHLETIC FACILITY THAT INCLUDES A FITNESS CENTER, ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY ROOM, GROUP EXERCISE STUDIOS, AND A COMPLETE SCHEDULE OF WELLNESS ACTIVITIES. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO KEEP ADULTS HEALTHY AND FIT AS WELL AS ADD TO THE LONGEVITY OF SENIOR ADULTS LIVES. THERE ARE OVER 75,572 ANNUAL VISITS TO JCA.
