MOUNT DORA CENTER FOR THE ARTS - ART PROGRAMS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING CULTURAL WORKSHOPS, ART GALLERY EXHIBITS & RECEPTIONS, ART GIFT SHOP, LECTURE SERIES, AND SCHOOL ART EDUCATION.
MOUNT DORA ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL - HELD EACH FEBRUARY IN MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA. THE FESTIVAL IS ONE OF THE LARGEST IN THE STATE WITH ARTISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD KICKING OFF THE FESTIVAL SEASON IN FLORIDA. AN ESTIMATED 150,000 ATTENDEES ATTEND THE TWO-DAY EVENT, WHICH IS RANKED IN SUNSHINE ARTISTS TOP 100 FESTIVALS. OTHER THAN THE ENDLESS ROWS OF FINE ART, INCLUDING OIL PAINTINGS, WATERCOLORS, ACRYLICS, CLAY, SCULPTURE, AND PHOTOGRAPHY, THE FESTIVAL FEATURES LOCAL AND REGIONAL MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT AT A MAIN STAGE IN DONNELLY PARK.
