THE AIR CONDITIONING REFRIGERATION HEATING & PIPING ASSOCIATION, INC. OPERATES THE ASSUMED NAME "MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH FLORIDA" (MCASF). MCASF IS THE LEADER IN THE UNION MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE INDUSTRY IN THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SERVE ITS MEMBERS BY INCREASING MARKET SHARE FOR THE UNIONIZED INDUSTRY, PROMOTE PROFESSIONALISM, QUALITY, COST-EFFECTIVENESS, OWNER/USER BENEFIT, AND PRODUCTIVITY OF UNION CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE THROUGH LABOR RELATIONS, EDUCATION, SAFETY TRAINING, AND PUBLIC AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS. THAT CONTRACT INCLUDED SUBSTANTIAL UPDATES TO LANGUAGE IN THE AGREEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED AND ARRANGED EDUCATION ON VARIOUS TOPICS, INCLUDING SAFETY TRAINING AND OFFICE RESOURCES FOR CONTRACTORS.
