THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A VARIETY OF DEAF SERVICES FOR FAMILIES INCLUDING SUPPORT GROUPS FOR DEAF WOMEN, AND PARENTS OF DEAF CHILDREN; AN AFTERSCHOOL DEAF YOUTH PROGRAM FOR ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH-SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN; A DEAF MENTORING PROGRAM AT THE CENTER AND IN THE LOCAL SCHOOLS TO EMPOWER DEAF CHILDREN THROUGH PROFESSIONAL ROLE MODELING, PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, AND READING BOOKS IN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE.


FOR 41 YEARS, THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN PROVIDING QUALIFIED SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS TO PROVIDE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING CITIZENS WITH EQUAL COMMUNICATION ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE, EDUCATIONAL COURSEWORK, MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER PUBLIC SERVICES.
