FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (WITH RENT/MORTGAGE, UTILITIES, MEDICAL EXPENSES, FUEL, EMERGENCY SHELTER, EDUCATION, FURNITURE, & CLOTHING) TO LOW TO MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES. ASSISTED WITH APPROXIMATELY 8,307 EPISODES OF FOOD ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE FOR THE YEAR WHICH INCLUDED - FOOD BOXES TO FAMILIES WITHOUT FOOD. EACH BOX CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEKS WORTH OF FOOD. ALSO PROVIDED EMERGENCY FOOD. IN 2006, BEGAN FEEDING LUNCHES TO CHILDREN DURING SCHOOL BREAKS-PROGRAM CALLED FISH4KIDS. THE FOOD IS BOTH PURCHASED & DONATED. SERVED APPROXIMATELY 2,256 CHILDREN. FISH RUNS A THRIFT STORE WHICH PROVIDES LOW-COST OR FREE ITEMS TO LOW TO MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES. WE SERVE AN AVERAGE OF 278 PEOPLE PER MONTH. ITEMS ARE DONATED.
