DURING THE 2022 FISCAL YEAR, 431 LARGE PRINT TITLES WERE PURCHASED AND TWO BOOKS WERE TRANSCRIBED INTO BRAILLE. 90 DVDS WERE PURCHASED FOR THE DESCRIPTIVE VIDEO PROGRAM. FRIENDS RECORDED 5 DIGITAL BOOKS AND 11 MAGAZINES IN THEIR STUDIO. THE FRIENDS PROVIDED FUNDS TO PURCHASE PRIZES FOR WRITING AND READING CONTESTS AT THE LIBRARY. THE WRITING CONTEST HAD 34 ENTRIES; THE WINTER READING PROGRAM HAD 87 ADULT AND 4 YOUTH PARTICIPANTS; THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM HAD 124 REGISTRANTS.
