THE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO INITIATE, ENCOURAGE AND SPONSOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN FORESTRY, AS WELL AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION OF INTEREST TO THE FORESTRY COMMUNITY AND TO ADVANCE INSTRUCTION IN FORESTRY AND ENCOURAGE QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS TO ENTER CAREERS IN THE FIELD OF FORESTRY.

THE TREE FARM FUND IS USED PRIMARILY FOR FOREST INSPECTIONS, FORESTER INCENTIVES, AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE TREE FARM SYSTEM.
PROJECT LEARNING TREE IS USED TO PROVIDE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS TO HELP CHILDREN MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS ABOUT NATURAL RESOURCES.
