CASEWORKERS PROVIDE EDUCATION, GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO COUPLES INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. CASEWORKERS COUNSEL AND EDUCATE WOMEN ABOUT THEIR OPTIONS, INCLUDING ADOPTION AND ALL THAT IT ENTAILS. BIRTH MOTHERS WHO HAVE AGREED TO PLACE THEIR BABIES THROUGH ADOPTION SERVICES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICAL HOUSING AND INCIDENTAL COSTS. FOSTER PARENTS ARE REIMBURSED FOR THE COST OF CARING FOR BABIES DURING THE TRANSITION BETWEEN BIRTH AND ADOPTION. THERE WERE 6 ADOPTION PLACEMENTS COMPLETED IN 2021.
