KEYSTONE CLUB: KEYSTONING IS THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB MOVEMENTS ULTIMATE TEEN PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AGES 14 TO 18. THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM PROVIDES LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES, BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE CLUB, IN THREE FOCUS AREAS: ACADEMIC SUCCESS, CAREER PREPARATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. WITH THE GUIDANCE OF AN ADULT ADVISOR, KEYSTONE CLUBS AIM TO POSITIVELY IMPACT TEENS, THEIR CLUB AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES. DONATED FACILITIES VALUE OF 144 NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS: WE OPERATE SCHOOL-BASED BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS IN SPARTANBURG AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES AFTER SCHOOL AND THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. ALL SCHOOLS SERVED HAVE HIGH POVERTY RATES. ON A WEEKLY BASIS, CLUB MEMBERS SPEND THEIR TIME ENGAGED IN FIVE CORE PROGRAM AREAS ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING FORMULA - 10% LEADERSHIP, 40% EDUCATION, 10% ARTS, AND 40% FITNESS AND RECREATION. OVER 1,300 STUDENTS ATTEND OUR CLUBS EACH DAY AFTER SCHOOL. WE BUILD BELONGING, COMPETENCE, AND PURPOSE IN THE LIVES OF KIDS AND IN TURN THEY DO BETTER ACADEMICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SOCIALLY, AND PHYSICALLY. OUR CLUB MEMBERS GROW UP TO BECOME MORE PRODUCTIVE, RESPONSIBLE, AND CARING CITIZENS. DONATED FACILITIES VALUE OF 993,307 NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES.
