WE OPERATE SCHOOL-BASED KIDS CLUBS IN SPARTANBURG AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES AFTER SCHOOL AND THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. ALL SCHOOLS SERVED HAVE HIGH POVERTY RATES. ON A WEEKLY BASIS, CLUB MEMBERS SPEND THEIR TIME ENGAGED IN FOUR CORE PROGRAM AREAS ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING FORMULA - 10% LEADERSHIP, 40% EDUCATION, 10% ARTS, AND 40% FITNESS. WE BUILD BELONGING, COMPETENCE, AND PURPOSE IN THE LIVES OF KIDS AND IN TURN THEY DO BETTER ACADEMICALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SOCIALLY, AND PHYSICALLY. WE HAVE 18 SCHOOL- BASED CLUB LOCATIONS THAT SERVE OVER 2,200 KIDS ANNUALLY.
PATHWAYS IS A PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AGES 14 TO 18. THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM PROVIDES LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN CAREER PREPARATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. WITH THE GUIDANCE OF AN ADULT ADVISOR, PATHWAYS CLUB AIMS TO POSITIVELY IMPACT TEENS, THEIR CLUB AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
