GLOBAL PROGRAMS - THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH GRANTEES AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO ADDRESS CRITICAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES - FROM INFECTIOUS DISEASE TO AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL SERVICES - TO BENEFIT THE WORLD'S POOREST PEOPLE. THE FOUNDATION INVESTS IN ADVANCES IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO DELIVERING INTERVENTIONS TO SOLVE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES THAT PREVENT PEOPLE IN THE POOREST COUNTRIES FROM THRIVING.
US PROGRAMS - IN THE UNITED STATES, THE PRIMARY FOCUS IS ON ENSURING THAT ALL STUDENTS - ESPECIALLY BLACK, LATINO, AND LOW-INCOME STUDENTS - HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO EARN A DEGREE OR CREDENTIAL THAT PREPARES THEM FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AND LIFE.
