CENTER BASED PROGRAM - SANDHILLS CHILDREN'S CENTER OPERATES TWO CENTER-BASED CAMPUSES WITH A TOTAL OF 17 CLASSROOMS WHERE THE PRIMARY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A DAY SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE TO INSTITUTIONAL PLACEMENT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN WITH SEVERE AND PROFOUND DISABILITIES. ON A DAILY BASIS, THE CENTER PROVIDES PERSONALIZED ATTENTION FROM HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF IN A PLAY-BASED ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT DISABILITIES.
