THE CENTER IS A DEVELOPMENTAL DAY CENTER DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG CHILDREN. ITS SERVES SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN AGES 2 TO 5 FROM NEW HANOVER, BRUNSWICK AND PENDER COUNTIES OF NORTH CAROLINA. IT AIMS TO BUILD THE INDEPENDENCE OF EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN THROUGH HIGH-QUALITY EARLY EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES. ITS CENTER-BASED SETTING PROVIDES A VALUABLE FAMILY SUPPORT SYSTEM. CHILDREN EXPAND AND ENRICH THEIR OVERALL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PLANS DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTED IN A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT OF PARENTS, EDUCATORS, CLINICIANS, THERAPISTS, COUNSELORS AND NUTRITIONISTS.
