TO SUPPORT THE PREPARATION OF STUDENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL CAREERS OF SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP, WHILE PROMOTING THE DISCOVERY AND APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE IN DIVERSE CULTURES AND COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD.

ALLIANT EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (AEF) IS A NONPROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. DURING THE PAST YEAR AEF HAS ADMINISTERED AND DISTRIBUTED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING FOR STUDENTS AT ALLIANT INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY TO ASSIST WITH THE SUCCESSFUL PROGRESSION THROUGH THEIR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS. AEF HAS ALSO PROVIDED OVERSIGHT AND ADMINISTRATION OF BOTH LARGE AND SMALL GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND CONTRACTS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE ACADEMIC RESEARCH BY THE FACULTY OF FIVE DIFFERENT CAMPUSES OF ALLIANT INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY.
THIS PROGRAM WILL HELP PLACE PRACTICUM STUDENTS FROM ALLIANT'S CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (CSPP) INTO NON-PROFIT SITES THAT HAVE IDENTIFIED THE NEED FOR MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT. THE FOUNDATION AIMS TO BUILD MORE BRIDGES BETWEEN ALLIANT/CSPP AND THESE NEW NON-PROFIT ENTITIES AND HELP FUND THE CLINICAL SUPERVISION NEEDED FOR THESE GRADUATE STUDENTS.
AS PART OF A PROJECT TO FOSTER INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS, RESEARCH, PUBLICATIONS, AND/OR ENHANCEMENTS WITHIN THE ALLIANT SYSTEM, THE FOUNDATION LAUNCHED THIS PROGRAM OFFERING ONE-TIME FUNDING FOR NEW INITIATIVES PROPOSED AND LED BY CURRENT FACULTY AND STAFF. THIS INVESTMENT WAS FOR ONE-TIME "SEED" FUNDING TO HELP LAUNCH NEW VENTURES AND IS AVAILABLE ACROSS THE ALLIANT SYSTEM TO ALL CAMPUS LOCATIONS AND ANY SCHOOL OR DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE SYSTEM.
