COLLECTION CARE: MAINTAINED THE APPEARANCE OF THE COLLECTION AND THE OPERATION OF THOSE CARS USED IN RAILWAY SERVICE AS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES: THE BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, THE HEADWAY RECORDER, IS THE FUNNEL FOR MUSEUM INFORMATION TO ITS MEMBERS. IT CONTAINED THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEE MEETINGS AND OTHER INFORMATION ON THE PROGRESS OF VARIOUS MUSEUM PROJECTS.
RAILWAY: THE DEMONSTRATION RAILWAY PROVIDED STREET CAR RIDES TO THE PUBLIC AND TO STUDENTS THAT INTERPRETED THE ELECTRIC STREET RAILWAYS IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL. PUBLIC OPERATIONS ARE EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
