HOUSING AND HOMELESS PROGRAMS- PROVIDING SHELTER AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS, ACCESS TO FOOD AND CLOTHING SERVICE; AND PROGRAMS SUCH AS SAFE NIGHTS, AN EMERGENCY HYPOTHERMIA OVERNIGHT SHELTER PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FROM OCTOBER 1 THROUGH MID APRIL EACH YEAR, AND VARIOUS OTHER TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FACILITIES FOR MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN.


TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS- WHICH PROVIDE NECESSARY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS TO PEOPLE IN NEED. THE ORGANIZATION'S TRANSPORTATION DIVISION PROVIDES SUBSIDIZED TRANSPORTATION TO SUPPORT A HOUSEHOLD'S SELF-SUFFICIENCY. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOW- TO MODERATE-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS TO ACCESS COMMUNITY SERVICES, EMPLOYMENT,AND MEDICAL-RELATED APPOINTMENTS. TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED TO SENIOR CITIZENS AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. LOCAL SHUTTLE SERVICE AS WELL AS TRANSPORTATION THROUGHOUT THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA IS PROVIDED.
