DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED INNOVATIVE EARLY CHILDHOOD APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS FOR CENTER BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS AND AN ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROGRAM FOR FAMILY CHILD CARE PROVIDERS AS AN ALTERNATIVE CAREER PATHWAY. PRODUCED AND PILOTED A PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM AND AN ADVOCACY CURRICULUM FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS. LAUNCHED ADMINISTRATION OF CHILD CARE LABOR-MANAGEMENT TRAINING FUNDS IN RI AND MA. CONDUCTED WORKER-CENTERED TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REACHING NEARLY 700 EDUCATORS IN THOSE STATES. DEVELOPED A SUBSTITUTE POOL PROGRAM TO ADDRESS THE LACK OF ACCESS EDUCATORS HAVE TO SUBSTITUTES. OFFERED A TIMELY, BILINGUAL COVID-19 RESPONSE, INCLUDING PROVIDING INFORMATION, RESOURCES AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO FAMILY CHILD CARE PROVIDERS. BEGUN ADMINISTRATION OF HUMAN SERVICES AND EDUCATORS LABOR-MANAGEMENT TRAINING FUND IN MA.


DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING HIGH IMPACT TRAINING AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS IN MA, RI, AND CA INCLUDING PEER MENTORSHIP AND FAMILY CHILD CARE PROVIDER COMMUNITIES OF CARE.EXPANDING THE GREEN JANITOR PROGRAM TO FIVE STATES TO ADDRESS OUR CLIMATE EMERGENCY-CURRICULUM IS FOCUSED ON REDUCING ENERGY AND WATER CONSUMPTION, AND DIVERTING WASTE. RE-ENGINEERING APPRENTICESHIP TO SERVE WORKERS OF COLOR, WOMEN WORKERS AND NEW IMMIGRANTS, SUCH AS OUR THE FIRST IN THE COUNTRY INNOVATIVE FAMILY CHILD CARE REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM. CREATING EMERGENCY SUPPORT FUNDS FOR FRONTLINE CARE WORKERS, FINISHING DISTRIBUTION OF OVER $1 MILLION IN COVID RELIEF GRANTS TO SUPPORT VULNERABLE HOSPITAL AND NURSING HOME WORKERS. LEVERAGING FUNDING FROM THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS TO PROVIDE CUTTING-EDGE TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO WORKERS SERVING DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES, SUCH AS VIA THE COMMONWEALTH HUMAN SERVICE WORKERS FUND, AND MANY OTHERS.
