DURING THE PAST YEAR THE BALTIMORE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION (BREF) MANAGED RESEARCH AND EDUCATION PROJECTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS - DETECTION AND/OR TREATMENT OF: CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE, HEART FAILURE, DIABETES, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, MENTAL ILLNESS, DRUG ABUSE, OBESITY, PULMONARY CONDITIONS, ORTHOPEDIC CONDITIONS, GERIATRIC FALL RISK AND REHABILITATION, BLAST INJURIES, CANCER, SARCOPENIA, WOUND HEALING, AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES INCLUDING COVID19 VACCINES/TREATMENTS. ADDITIONALLY, BREF FACILITATED VETERANS HEALTHCARE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND FACILITATED THERAPY JAZZ CONCERTS AT THE LOCH RAVEN VA FACILITY FOR RESIDENTIAL VETERANS.
