THE AMERICAN HORSE COUNCIL ADVISES THE HORSE INDUSTRY ABOUT FEDERAL LEGISLATION, REGULATIONS, AND POLICIES AND REPRESENTS IT BEFORE CONGRESS AND FEDERAL REGULATORY AGENCIES. IT INFORMS THE PUBLIC, GOVERNMENT ENTITIES, THE MEDIA, AND THE HORSE INDUSTRY ABOUT THE EQUINE INDUSTRY'S IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE ECONOMIC, SPORTING, AGRICULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL LIVES OF AMERICANS.
