BECK IS THE PLACE WHERE AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY CULTURE ARE PRESERVED. BECK WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1975 AS A PRIMARY REPOSITORY OF BLACK HISTORY AND CULTURE IN EAST TENNESSEE AND IS THE STOREHOUSE OF REGIONAL AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY AND CULTURE WITH AN EXTENSIVE ARCHIVE COLLECTION. THE HISTORIC MANSION FEATURES PREMIER EXHIBITS, ARTWORK, ARTIFACTS AND MEMORABILIA. BECK HAS A FULL RESEARCH CENTER, AN EXTENSIVE LIBRARY COLLECTION AND A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER.
