AS A FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATION, WE ARE INSPIRED BY GOD'S LOVE AND COMPASSION TO PROVIDE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND NECESSARY HELP TO PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS BY STABILIZING AND STRENGTHENING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED ACROSS THE 21 COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST KANSAS.

FAMILY SUPPORT WELCOMES OUR NEIGHBORS AND STRANGERS WHO ARE IN NEED BY OFFERING THEM THE MOST BASIC NEEDS SUCH AS FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, AND THE NECESSARY CASE MANAGEMENT TO STABILIZE THEIR VARYING SITUATIONS. IN EXCESS OF 235,000 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED FOOD ASSISTANCE FROM THE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE AND HOUSING PROGRAM. NEARLY 50% OF THOSE WHO RECEIVE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FROM CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF NORTHEAST KANSAS INC ARE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 19. NEARLY 53,000 OF THE MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN, WOMEN, AND MEN, IN OUR COMMUNITIES, RECEIVED HELP, HOPE AND HOSPITALITIY THROUGH ONE OR MORE OF OUR 20+ PROGRAMS.
HOSPICE PROVIDES CARE, COMFORT AND SUPPORT TO ADDRESS THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PATIENTS AND FAMILIES FACED WITH A LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESS. AS PART OF THE MISSION OF CATHOLIC CHARITIES, OUR MULTIDISCIPLINARY HOSPICE TEAM SERVES PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS BY OFFERING GUIDANCE, PEACE OF MIND AND COMPASSIONATE END-OF-LIFE CARE. OUR GOAL IS TO CARE FOR THE WHOLE PERSON - BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT. DURING THE YEAR THIS PROGRAM TRANSITIONED TO THE ARCHDIOCESE HEALTH CARE ENTITY.
RESPECT LIFE- PUTTING LOVE INTO ACTION BY STRENGTHENING FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS AND SURROUNDING OUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN WITH LOVE AND CARE. OVER 44,000 SERVICE HOURS SPENT TUTORING AND MENTORING YOUTH WERE PROVIDED BY OUR FOSTER GRANDPARENT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS.
