WICHITA PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION UNDERWRITES PROGRAMMING ACROSS THE WICHITA PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM. ALSO INCLUDED ARE PURCHASES FOR COMPUTERS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT, FREE WI-FI AND INTERNET SERVICES, BOOKS, ONLINE RESOURCES, DATABASES, E-BOOKS, E-AUDIOBOOKS, COMPUTER TRAINING, AND VARIOUS OTHER COLLECTIONS.
CONSTRUCTION EXPENSES BUILT THE CHILDREN'S STEAM OUTDOOR GARDEN AT THE ADVANCED LEARNING LIBRARY. THE GARDEN IS AN OUTDOOR SPACE FOR KIDS TO PLAY AND EXPLORE INTERACTIVE STATIONS RELATING TO SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART, AND MATHEMATICS.
