PREGNANCY, PARENTING AND ADOPTION SERVICES GIVE YOUNG MOTHERS THE SUPPORT AND INCENTIVES THEY NEED TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT AND NURTURING PARENTS, OR TO CREATE AN ADOPTION PLAN. THE ADOPTION PROCESS IS THE START OF A LIFE-LONG RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BIRTH PARENTS ADOPTIVE PARENTS AND A CHILD.THERE WERE 29 INQUIRIES REGARDING INFANT ADOPTION, 1 FAMILY PREPARED FOR ADOPTION, AND 1 INFANT WAS PLACED WITH ADOPTIVE PARENTS.
FAMILY STRENGTHENING PROGRAMS PROVIDE RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE EDUCATION CLASSES TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES LEARN RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING SKILLS THAT BENEFIT BOTH THEMSELVES AND OTHERS. ALSO, COUNSELING FOR ADDICTION OR RELAPSE PREVENTION HELPS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES DEVELOP HABITS AND BEHAVIORS FOR HAPPIER SUCCESS IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 2,207 BEHVIOR HEALTH SESSIONS.
FAMILY SUSTAINING PROGRAMS STRIVE TO CONNECT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH RESOURCES SUCH AS HOUSING, UTILITIES, FOOD, AND OTHER ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES TO MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS. 128 PEOPLE WERE ACCEPTED INTO THE HOUSING PROGRAM, AND 1,169 HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVED NON-FOOD PANTRY ITEMS. STAFF FACILITATED FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR 11 FAMILIES 43 LIFE SKILLS CLASSES FOR 79 PARTICIPANTS. IMMIGRATION SERVICES PROVIDED 751 INDIVIDUALS WITH SERVICES THAT INCLUDED RECEPTION & PLACEMENT, ADJUSTMENT, EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE, MEDICAL INSURANCE, AND CASH ASSISTANCE. THE ORGANIZATION FILED 1045 IMMIGRATION CASES WITH UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES AND PROVIDED ENGLISH CLASSES FOR 130 STUDENTS AND CITIZENSHIP CLASSES FOR 48 STUDENTS.
