SAINT LUKE'S CUSHING HOSPITAL (SLCH) IS A FAITH-BASED, NOT-FOR-PROFIT, COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER DEDICATED TO PROVIDING BOTH SERVICES AND LEADERSHIP IN CARING FOR ITS COMMUNITY. SLCH PARTICIPATES IN THE MEDICAID, TRICARE, AND MEDICARE PROGRAMS AND HAS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE POLICIES FOR ASSISTING PEOPLE WITHOUT ADEQUATE MEANS TO PAY FOR THEIR CARE. THE HOSPITAL CEASED OPERATIONS AS OF OCTOBER 1, 2020. THE CLOSURE IS PART OF SAINT LUKE'S HEALTH SYSTEM'S REALIGNMENT OF CARE AND SERVICES DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19. SLCH CONTINUES TO PROVIDE VARIOUS HEALTH SERVICES INCLUDING PRIMARY CARE, HOME CARE, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY SERVICES, PEDIATRIC, LAB, AND CARDIOLOGY SERVICES AT ITS REMAINING LOCATION.
