NEW HORIZON SCHOOL IRVINE PROVIDED QUALITY EDUCATION TO APPROXIMATELY320 STUDENTS FROM PRESCHOOL TO 8TH GRADES. THE PROGRAM HAD TO TRANSFORM THIS YEAR TO INCLUDE BOTH IN-PERSON AND REMOTE LEARNING OPTIONS IN ORDER TO ACCOMODATE REQUIRED SAFETY PROTOCOLS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE SCHOOL INVESTED HEAVILY IN EQUIPMENT, PROCESSES AND PERSONNEL TO MAKE LEARNING AS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE AS POSSIBLE.
THE COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAM PROVIDES PROGRAMMING AND SPACE TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS FOR SPORTING, ACADEMIC AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, WHICH MAY INVOLVE NEW HORIZON STUDENTS, STAFF AND FAMILY MEMBERS BUT ALSO MEMBERS OF THE WIDER IRVINE AND ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITIES.
