BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC., ESTABLISHED IN 1989, IS THE FUNDRAISING ARM OF MISSISSIPPI BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER, INC., WHICH RAISES MONEY TO BENEFIT VARIOUS MISSISSIPPI BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER, INC. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. FUNDS RAISED BY BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC. HELP ACCOMPLISH MISSISSIPPI BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER, INC.'S CHARITABLE CARE OBJECTIVES AND PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR ENHANCED PATIENT CARE AND HOSPITAL AND CLINICAL EDUCATION. BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC. SOLICITS, RECEIVES, AND MANAGES CONTRIBUTIONS, GIFTS, GRANTS, AND BEQUESTS. FUNDS RAISED BY BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC. ALSO ALLOCATES A PORTION OF UNRESTRICTED CONTRIBUTED DOLLARS AND PORTFOLIO EARNINGS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS VARIOUS GRANT PROGRAMS. BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC. SPONSORS SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. "HEARTS & CLUBS" GOLF TOURNAMENT IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT RAISES MONEY FOR BAPTIST HEART AND CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES. OVER 100 GOLFERS PARTICIPATE IN A SCRAMBLE-STYLE TOURNAMENT HOSTED BY BAPTIST HEALTH FOUNDATION, INC. EVENT PROCEEDS ARE COLLECTED THROUGH CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS, TEAM ENTRIES, AND IN-KIND DONATIONS.AN EVENT CALLED "CYCLISTS CURING CANCER CENTURY RIDE" BENEFITS BAPTIST CANCER SERVICES AND RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT CANCER RESOURCES INCLUDING THE SERENITY GARDEN AT HEDERMAN CANCER CENTER AND PATIENT NAVIGATOR EFFORTS. MORE THAN 400 CYCLISTS TRAVEL SEVERAL DISTANCE OPTIONS DOWN THE SCENIC NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY IN THIS FUN-FILLED ALL-DAY EVENT.
