CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY, FOUNDED IN 1878, IS ONE OF 28 JESUIT, CATHOLIC UNIVERSITIES IN THE U.S. THROUGH ITS 9 COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS, CREIGHTON PROVIDES OVER 4,400 UNDERGRADUATE AND NEARLY 4,300 PROFESSIONAL AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AN ATMOSPHERE THAT CHALLENGES THEM ACADEMICALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY, AND SUPPORTS AND INSPIRES THEM INDIVIDUALLY. COMMUNITY SERVICE IS A HALLMARK OF CREIGHTON'S JESUIT, CATHOLIC TRADITION AND FOUNDATIONAL TO ITS MISSION.

HIGHER EDUCATION: INSTRUCTION - CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY, FOUNDED IN 1878, IS A PRIVATE, CATHOLIC, JESUIT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WITH MORE THAN 8,700 STUDENTS OF DIVERSE FAITHS, RACES, AND ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS FROM ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND 51 COUNTRIES. THE UNIVERSITY PROVIDES ITS OVER 4,400 UNDERGRADUATE AND NEARLY 4,300 PROFESSIONAL AND GRADUATE STUDENTS A BALANCED EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE, A RIGOROUS ACADEMIC AGENDA AND A BROAD RANGE OF DISCIPLINES. HIGHER EDUCATION: HEALTH CARE SERVICES - CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY'S FOUR HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOOLS - DENTISTRY, MEDICINE, NURSING, AND PHARMACY AND HEALTH PROFESSIONS - EDUCATE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE HIGHLY TRAINED IN HEALTHCARE DELIVERY. CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY MAINTAINS HEALTH SCIENCE CAMPUSES IN OMAHA AND PHOENIX, WITH THE OMAHA CAMPUS OFFERING TRAINING PROGRAMS IN ALL OF THE AFOREMENTIONED HEALTH SCIENCE SPECIALTIES AND THE PHOENIX CAMPUS OFFERING PROGRAMS IN MEDICINE AND NURSING. IN JUNE 2021, THE UNIVERSITY OCCUPIED A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED 183,000 SQ. FT. FACILITY IN PHOENIX, WHICH HOUSES CLASSROOMS, LEARNING ENRICHMENT AREAS, SIMULATION LABORATORIES, ACADEMIC SUPPORT SERVICES, FACULTY AND STAFF OFFICES AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION SPACE FOR THE EXISTING AND EXPANDED MEDICINE AND NURSING PROGRAMS, PLUS NEW OFFERINGS IN PHARMACY, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY. TOTAL ENROLLMENT ON THE PHOENIX CAMPUS IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH 900 HEALTH PROFESSIONS STUDENTS BY 2025. CREIGHTON'S HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOOLS CURRENTLY PROVIDE HEALTHCARE EDUCATION FOR NEARLY 3,500 DENTAL, MEDICAL, NURSING, PHARMACY, AND OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY STUDENTS.
